The Z-Drive R5 from OCZ sports a new `kilimanjaro controller platform, developed in cahoots with Marvell incorporated into each and every flash module that you are to add to the base card. The scalable controllers communicate directly with the host system, removing the need for an extra SSD RAID chip and promises greater speeds especially you pile on more modules.
