How To Customize Tones In Settings – Huawei Ascend Mate

Learn how to customize tones in settings on your Huawei Ascend Mate. Setting the ringtone, changing message tone and other tones.

Setting the ringtone

• On the home screen, touch then the All tab.

• Under DEVICE, touch Sound.

• Touch Phone ringtone and select either of the following options from the displayed dialog box:

• Ringtone: choose from the default selection.

• Local music: choose from the audio files you have saved to your phone.

• Touch OK.

Changing message tone and other tones

• On the home screen, touch Settings icon then the All tab.

• Under DEVICE, touch Sound.

• Touch Notification tone.

• Select a tone type.

Note: You can configure the email notification tone only after you have set up an email account.

• Select a tone.

• Touch OK.
