Learn how to Setup on your Samsung Gear 2. When you turn on the Gear 2 for the first time, follow the displayed instructions. The instructions describe how to connect the Gear 2 to a mobile device and to set up the device.

Press and hold the Power button for a few seconds to turn on the Gear 2. A pop-up window displays and provides instructions that prompt you to download and install the Gear Manager. You can use the Gear 2 only after the Gear Manager is installed on the mobile device.

Press and hold the Power button, and then tap Power off to turn off the Gear 2.
