You can delete your iPod web history, it wont disappear, and you need to remove manually.
- From the main menu touch Settings.
- Scroll down a bit and click or touch Safari.
- From this screen you can do a bunch of stuff like choosing your search engine, block pop ups, and all sorts of stuff including deleting history.
- Tap Clear History and then click Clear History from the pop up to confirm.
