Apple News Gets Dedicated Twitter Account To Promote Stories

Apple has opened a new Twitter account dedicated to Apple News to keep people informed about the interesting aspects of News, with the account spotlighting featured stories from the app. Although the Apple News Twitter account @AppleNews was created over a year ago, the account has remained dormant until now.

In fact, at the time of writing, the account has only published four separate tweets, with the first one being an introductory tweet promoting the launch of the feed and has already have over 5,000 followers. This new Twitter account will be used to promote content from the aggregator, which pulls together a variety of stories from a multitude of publications and sources.

This is not the first time Apple is using Twitter to promote their services and apps. The company has already using Twitter to promote Apple Music @AppleMusic and provide support @AppleMusicHelp. It also uses an general support account @AppleSupport, to provide general tips and tricks for its products.
