Value To Release Portal 2 Early On Steam?
It seems Portal 2 will be made available on Steam, several days before the official release date. According to Kotaku, It was also rumored that, Portal 2 is already available for pre-loading, which is usually restricted until around 48 hours before a game’s release.
It is unknown whether all Steam copies will be playable before release, or whether those who have purchased and played the Potato Sack bundle will gain access. Last week it was revealed that Valve will announce DLC for Portal 2 after it is released.
Portal 2 will be released on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC and Mac on April 19 in North America and April 21 in Europe.
