Twitter has been experimenting with new features for sometime to improve their revenue. Unfortunately, most of them are not well received by its user base. Today, Twitter announced a new way for advertisers to engage with users by bringing emoji keyword targeting for Twitter Ads.

This allows advertisers to target more than just specific words in tweets. Now, they can also cite particular emoji to find users they believe will be receptive to their pitches. This means, if you tweet a pizza / food emoji then you can expect to see ads from popular restaurants and food joints.
