Samsung’s New Wireless Charging Pad For Galaxy S6 And S6 Edge To Cost $59
Samsung’s latest flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge, both have built-in wireless charging capabilities, Samsung introduced a brand new wireless charging pad for them. Samsung will probably launch this charging pad – pictured above – at the same time with the S6 and S6 edge (on April 10), though the company didn’t say how much the accessory would cost.
According to Canadian carrier Fido, the round wireless charging pad will cost $59.99 in Canada. This price was revealed in a Tweet that has been deleted, but Canadian website MobileSyrup managed to take a screenshot of it. Apparently, Rogers and Fido will offer the wireless charger for free to customers who buy the Galaxy S6.
Samsung is already taking pre-orders for the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge, though only in Europe for now. Prices for the Galaxy S6 start at 699, while the cheapest Galaxy S6 edge model (32 GB) costs 849. We assume that, in the US, the two handsets will cost as low as $699 and $849, respectively.
