Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) And Galaxy J7 (2016) Are Officially Unveiled In China
Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy J5 (2016) and Galaxy J7 (2016) in China. The two mid-range smartphones under the J Series will arrive with a metal frame and considerably improved specs over their original 2015 versions.
The Samsung Galaxy J5 will have 3,100-mAh battery, 1.2GHz quad code processor, 2GB of RAM, a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED display with 720p resolution, and 16GB of internal storage, a 13-megapixel primary camera, and a 5-megapixel secondary camera accompanied by a LED flash. The Samsung Galaxy J5 will have 3,300-mAh battery, 1.7GHz octa code processor, 3GB of RAM, a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with 720p resolution, and 16GB of internal storage, a 13-megapixel primary camera, and a 5-megapixel front facing camera with LED flash.
Both phones come with 4G connectivity on two SIM slots and a microSD slot. The Galaxy J7 (2016) will also supports NFC and Samsung Pay, which was unveiled for China today. Unfortunately, Samsung has not mention the pre-loaded Android version, and we believe based on previous rumors, both handsets will be released with Android 5.1 Lollipop with Marshmallow update planned for future.
The Galaxy J5 (2016) and Galaxy J7 (2016) come in gold, white and pink color and will have a metal body. Samsung has not listed a price for both devices, but we can expect the new phones to cost the same as the original J5 and J7.
