Google Nexus 6 phablet has been approved by FCC, the news comes just days before the device is set to go up for pre-order in Google Play Store, and it prevents another approval delay like that suffered by the Nexus Player earlier this month.

The newly discovered FCC documents dont name the Nexus 6 specifically, but they do detail a smartphone made by Motorola that measures 159.4mm tall, and 83mm wide. According to Google Play, the Nexus 6 measures 159.26mm tall and 82.98mm wide. The device showed up under two listings with Motorolas FCC ID attached IHDT56QD1 and IHDT56QD2. The differences in the two listings are likely because there are two models of the Nexus 6: XT1103 (US variant) and XT1100 (international variant).

T-Mobile has already confirmed it will release the handset on November 12, but its currently unclear when it will be available from AT&T, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, or Verizon. We already reported on pre-orders information.

It will be the first smartphone to ship with Android 5.0 Lollipop and is offered in two storage configurations; 32 GB priced at $649 and 64 GB at $699.

If you want to buy the Nexus 6 directly from Google, youll be able to place a pre-order through Google Play on Wednesday, October 26.
