How To Use Voice Mail – Nokia Lumia 1020
Learn how to use voice mail on your Nokia Lumia 925. Can’t always answer the phone, but don’t want to miss any incoming calls? You can forward them to another phone number.

Tap Call icon > . . . > settings, or tap Settings > network+, depending on your software version.

Switch Call forwarding to On.

Type in the phone number in the Forward calls to box, and tap save.
Note: To check if call forwarding is being used, shown by , tap the top of the screen.
Forward calls to your voice mail
Besides forwarding calls to another phone number, you can also forward these calls to your voice mail, and listen to them later.
You may need to contact your service provider to get this service.

Tap Call icon > . . . > settings.

On first use, type in your default voice mail number in the Voicemail number box.

Contact your service provider to get the default voice mail number.

If necessary, switch Use default voicemail number to On .

Switch Call forwarding to On , and type in your voice mail number in the Forward calls to box.
Edit your voice mail number
Tap Call icon > . . . > settings, switch Use default voicemail number to Off , and edit your voice mail number.
Use the same voice mail number in the Forward calls to box.
Use visual voice mail
Visual voice mail allows you to see a list of your voice messages and choose which one to play or delete.
You may need to contact your service provider to get this service on your phone.

Tap Call icon > . . . > settings.

Switch Visual voicemail to On.

Type in your voice mail number in the Voicemail number box.
Contact your service provider to get your voice mail number.
Listen to a voice message
On the start screen, tap Call icon > Voice Message icon, type in the password, and tap the message you want to listen to.
