How To Use Display Settings – LG G Watch

Learn how to use display settings on your LG G Watch. You can change the design of your watch face in a couple ways, either through touching the background of the screen, or through the watchs Settings.

From the background of your screen

• If your screen is dim, touch the screen to wake up the watch.
• Touch & hold anywhere on the background of the screen for two seconds. Youll see a list of watch faces to choose from.
• Swipe to the right or left to browse the designs.
• Touch to choose a new design.

From Settings

• If your screen is dim, touch the screen to wake up the watch.
• Touch anywhere on the background of the screen. Youll see a white screen with a red g.
• Touch again anywhere on the screen to see a menu of things you can do.
• Scroll until you see Settings icon.
• Touch Settings icon.
• Scroll until you see Change watch face icon
• Touch Change watch face icon.
• Swipe to the right or left to browse the designs.
• Touch to choose a new design.

Change watch brightness

To change the brightness of your screen:

• If your screen is dim, touch the screen to wake up the watch.
• Touch anywhere on the background of the screen. Youll see a white screen with a red g.
• Touch again anywhere on the screen to see a menu of things you can do.
• Scroll until you see Settings icon.
• Touch Settings icon.
• Touch Adjust brightness icon.
• Choose a brightness level by touching an option.

Turn screen on or off

When your watch is idle, you can set the screen to:

• Turn off completely.
• Stay always on to show the time as well as your top card.

Note: Turning your watchs screen completely off when youre not using it will help improve your watchs battery life.

• You can change this setting from your phone or watch.

From your phone or tablet

• On your phone, open the Android Wear app icon.
• Touch the Settings icon.
• Check or uncheck the box next to Screen always on.

From your watch

• If your screen is dim, touch the screen to wake up the watch.
• Touch anywhere on the background of the screen. Youll see a white screen with a red g.
• Touch again anywhere on the screen to see a menu of things you can do.
• Scroll until you see Settings icon.
• Touch Settings icon.
• Touch Always-on screen to turn on or off.
