How To Use Accounts And Sync – Huawei Ascend Mate
Learn how to use accounts and sync on yor Huawei Ascend Mate. You can synchronize data on your phone, such as contacts, emails, and events, to and from the Internet.
Adding an account

On the home screen, touch Settings icon then the All tab.

Under ACCOUNTS, touch Add account.

Select an account type.

Follow the onscreen instructions and enter your account information.

Configure the account and set the type of data you wish to synchronize.When an account is set up, it will be shown in the ACCOUNTS section.
Note: The types of data you can synchronize to your phone vary with account type.
Deleting an account

On the home screen, touch Settings icon then the All tab.

Under ACCOUNTS, select an account type.

Select the account you wish to delete.

Touch Menu > Remove account.

In the displayed dialog box, touch Remove account.
Turning on data synchronization

On the home screen, touch Settings icon then the All tab.

Under ACCOUNTS, select an account type.

Select the account you wish to synchronize from.

Touch the data you wish to synchronize.
Note: You can touch Menu > Sync now to have the data synchronization run in the background.
Modifying account synchronization settings

On the home screen, touch Settings icon then the All tab.

Under ACCOUNTS, select an account type.

Select the account whose synchronization settings you wish to modify.

Under Sync settings, select the data you wish to synchronize.
