You can easily update the firmware in your Android devices to the latest version via over the air (OTA). However, since downloading software via a mobile network may result in additional charges, it is recommended for you to use a Wi-Fi connection when downloading software.

You have to remember that firmware updates require at least 3GB of free space in your phone and also make sure that your battery is fully charged or at least 70% so that your phone will not turn off while downloading or updating software.

To update Android to the latest version via OTA, follow the below steps

Note: You still can use your phone while downloading.

Once it is done, you will be presented at the lock screen from there you can unlock your device and use it.
