How To Turn On Automatic Screen Rotation On HTC One

Learn how to turn on or turn off automatic screen rotation on your HTC One. Automatic rotation is not supported in all applications.

• Slide the Notifications panel open, and then tap Settings icon.
• Tap Display, gestures & buttons (or Display & buttons).
• Clear the Auto rotate screen option.

Screen not rotating?

• Recalibrate the screen if you feel that the screen orientation does not respond properly to the way you hold HTC One.
• Slide the Notifications panel open, and then tap Settings icon.
• Tap Display, gestures & buttons (or Display & buttons) and then tap G-Sensor calibration.

Place HTC One on a flat and level surface, and then tap Calibrate.

After the recalibration process, tap OK.
