Boxee Box Update Fixes Surround Sound Problems
The recent Boxee Box1.1 update fixes the surround sound problems, brings back volume control. The company has completed the work on the fix and released the version v1.1.1 update. Users of the Box can now matrix stereo audio sources through their surround sound setup again and if you prefer volume control to be on, its just a click of settings checkbox away. Its still not decoding the Dolby TrueHD to 5.1 channels PCM internally, appears to be the change originally intended due to the licensing between Dolby and D-Link.
