AT&T To Showcase LTE-Enabled Windows 8 Tablet
AT&T has done a thing for its 2012 Developer Summit, this slot of them making most of them a pause. Titled A Metro Style Hemi, an afternoon session at event will showcase a Windows 8 tablet, reportedly powered by Qualcomms many chips. There are no details on whether or not a physical unit will be on hand with an active LTE radio, but it is useful to know that Microsofts already talking with the carrier about hosting such devices. We are still believing that Windows 8 based tablets are a few months out, but if already AT&Ts already got one in its lab for testing, we should be looking to handle a LTE + Windows 8 tablet sooner than expected.
