Today, Apple has launched its “Trade Up with Installments” plan in three European countries France, Italy, and Spain that allows customers to trade their old smartphone (iPhone, Android, or Windows Phone) and put the value of that device towards a new iPhone based on a 24-month payment plan.

According to Apple Website, by trading a 16GB iPhone 5s for a new 16GB iPhone SE, you will have to pay a monthly rental for a duration of 2 years (€ 15.95 per month in France or € 15.98 in Spain or € 16.98 in Italy). You can also opt to get a credit up to € 290 (in Spain and Italy or € 270 in France) that you can spend at the Apple Store.

You can find the trade-up price iPhone for each country below.

Until today, the “Trade Up with Installments” program was only available in United States and Citizens Bank finances the program with a 0% interest rate. With the Europe launch, Sofinco will provide finance in France, Agos Ducato in Italy, and Cetelem for Spain. Unfortunately, the offer is not available online and Apple recommends customers to speak to a Specialist at an Apple Retail Store for more details. In addition, the offer is temporary and set to end on August 31, 2016 in France, Italy, and Spain.

Apple also has “iPhone Upgrade Program” that lets users to upgrade to a new iPhone year in, year out. However, the “iPhone Upgrade Program” is exclusive only to US customers, but with the Trade-Up program showing in other countries, we can have some hope that Apple will also bring the “iPhone Upgrade Program to other countries.
