The first benchmark of Samsung Galaxy S II makes the other phones cry in shame. Its a speedy phone, got dual-core Exynos CPU, pulled off 3,053 in Quadrant, and scored double. The scores also represent a more than 3 fold improvement over the original Samsung Galaxy S. These are purely synthetic benchmarks and may not translate into an equally improved experience in a day to day use.

Nintendo cutting Wii price to $150 on May 15th

Nintendo cutting Wii price to $150 on May 15th

The Nintendo Wii will cost $150 from May 15th, but we are waiting for the official announcement. The timing would make some sense, Nintendos profits have tanked for a while due flagging hardware sales, and just a month Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils Aime hinted that the Wiis price might be potential variable to change that in an interview with Gamasutra. Still, we are not fully convinced that Nintendo would announce a price cut then, we can confirm it on the Electronics Entertainment Expo in June, and not the company to let this sort of announcement leak out, but if you find a shiny new copy of Mario Kart Wii in a $150 console bundle this time next month, we will be happy that we told the price already.
