Samsung introduces its new multi proof pocket cam W200 with 1080p recording feature. It will hold up in harsh conditions and keep on working underwater and capture some full 1080p video in process. You will also get 5MP still images from camera, a microSD card slot to store them on, a 2.3 inch round back and built in USB connector. Eye-Fi officially released the Direct mode firmware update. They promised its for beaming photos straight from your camera to your smartphone or tablets. Just pop your x2 card into your computer, launch the Eye-Fi Center, and you should be prompted to install the new firmware version 4.5022. Then you have install it, the Eye-Fi equipped with Android or iOS device, pair it with your camera. Then any pictures you snap with your Eye-Fi equipped cam will be automatically beam themselves to your handheld device, sharing on Picasa or Eye-Fi View is just a tap or two away.

The words from Impress Watch, which gives an official statement from Sony Computer Entertainment that promises support, firmware updates, and repairs for the PSP Go, but no further stock for the device. Sony said it will focus on shifting as many units of that classic device as possible until the NGP strides in and revolutionizes everything.

The Philips GoGear gets the new look and new flavour of Android. The new GoGear has gone from white to black, lost its trackball in favour of specific touchscreen display, and exchanged Android 2.1 for Gingerbread. Its competition from Samsung, the device also has access to Android Market and all those apps that lesser PMPs lack. We can able to see some copper coloured buttons and speaker grill running along its right side to form a good design, but the overall fit and finish not to mention the lack of backlight for the screen demonstrated that it was not quite ready for primetime. Philips told it will be getting ready on September debut for the 8GB and 16GB versions(at $179 and to be determined price points respectively), and promised a 32GB version will follow later. The companys latest service plan, known as World Premium Unlimited, offers unlimited calling to mobile phones in 42 countries and landlines in 80 for $55 a month. This plan also offers unlimited local and long distance service in US, Canada, and Puerto Rico, and requires callers to use touch tone phone, hooked up to the internet by the way of Vonage adapter to make calls to places like UK, Mexico and Brazil.
