Its optical film can deliver up to 60 percent of all colors visible to human eye, compared with the 20 to 25 percent the most displays offer. Nanosys engineers suspended a blend of quantum dots within optical film applied it to blue LED, helped get the Nano crystals excited. The dots emitted high quality white light and a rich, wide color gamut, without consuming as mush power as white LED based materials.
