Microsoft has revealed that the first update for Windows Phone 7 has been put on hold for Samsung handsets after repeated reports from users that the update has failed to install correctly and in some cases even bricked their phones.Microsoft figures that around 10 percent of users attempting to update has encountered the error and there may be three different causes for this failure, out which two of them can be fixed easily. The company says that nearly half of the failure has been caused by a lack of proper Internet connection or enough disk space to take backup of phone’s content.
