Microsoft has revealed that the first update for Windows Phone 7 has been put on hold for Samsung handsets after repeated reports from users that the update has failed to install correctly and in some cases even bricked their phones.Microsoft figures that around 10 percent of users attempting to update has encountered the error and there may be three different causes for this failure, out which two of them can be fixed easily. The company says that nearly half of the failure has been caused by a lack of proper Internet connection or enough disk space to take backup of phone’s content.

Verizon’s webpage for Xoom is live and officially announced that it will be available on Feb 24 2011. But what is interesting is that, the Android Honeycomb powered device will ship without Flash. But the it will be made available once the much awaited Adobe Flash 10.2 for mobile devices is released.
