G-technology just announced it will be adding support for high-speed devices to its Thunderbolt equipped line of RAID devices. The product will be starting with companys smaller arrays in four to eight-disc sizes. A prototype of 4-disc device is shown in the picture, which rep Pete Schlatter described as the sweet spot in terms of portability and storage. Calling a 8 drive array as portable sounds like a stretch, these are designed to be paired with laptops and carried people editing video on the go.

Google has acquired a mobile entertainment company PushLife, which has been developing a music app of its own for Android and BlackBerry platforms.
