Nokias just launched beta version of Ovi Maps 3D. There is some little help from Navteqs maps and some software wizardry, its now able to display cities in a new 3D view that you are able to zoom in and around to your hearts content. Texas Instruments just unveiled its next generation, Qi-compliant wireless power receiver chip today. It is fully 80 percent smaller than previous chip. That promises to make it easier for manufacturers to implement in everything from cell phones to game consoles to digital cameras and that small size apparently comes without any compromises, with it providing 5W of output power and 93 percent peak efficiency. Samsung told to Maeli Business Newspapaer that a high-ranking company official has disclosed Samsungs intention to deliver a dual-core smartphone that runs at a 2GHz. That is 2GHz for each core, not the specious 1GHz multiplied by two. ARM already has a dual-core Cortex A9 design capable of scaling such speed heights, which is probably on the basis on which Samsung is building its future processor on.

If you want a phone that got protection against water, and you like a slimmer phone means, NECs also got you the one. According to pamphlet obtained by datacider, the MEDIAS family soon will be welcoming a Gingerbread- powered NEC N-o6C, which is 0.2mm thickness and 10g weight. Evolve Threes goal of creating the Worlds most powerful versatile touchscreen tablets seems to be going well so far. Maestro C table specs are 1.5GHz Intel Atom Z670 inside processor, 2GB of DDR2 RAM, and it also got a physically rotates turning into a kickstand and exposing ports at the same time and a removable keyboard that doubles as hard-shell protector for the entire touchscreen. There is also a 32GB high performance SSD and optional 3G connectivity, a pair of stereo speakers once again, and the main thing here is three Operating Systems (Android 3.0, MeeGo and Windows 7) to choose from at start up. The only thing worrying is the price $729 as starting one.
