The first of Lenovos CES announced S-series, S205, came to the online store this week, albeit lacking the 8GB DDR3 SDRAM option mentioned as its announcement. The base model priced at $499, features a 1.60GHz dual-core AMD Fusion E-350 CPU, 11.6-inch 1366*768 resolution 16:9 widescreen panel, 3GB DDR3 SDRAM, ATI Mobility Radeon 6310 Graphics, and a 350GB hard disk. The Toshibas upcoming Honeycomb tablet is already headed to Japanese store as Regza AT300, but its been a little slower in arriving stateside. Now the company could be close to shipping real, working product in US. The unnamed slate dubbed the ET100/WT100 for now, it has won the FCC approval for its 802.11n, and Bluetooth radios. The slate features 10.1-inch 1280*800 display, runs on NVIDIAs Tegra2 platform, dual cameras, HDMI and USB ports, an SD card reader, and a removable battery.

Verizon document suggests that will be getting some brand new radio firmware for beleaguered HTC Thunderbolt. The device is not only fallen victim Verizon LTE outage but has 3G data and CDMA / LTE cycling issues since day one. RIM is apparently getting to set debut a new touchscreen-equipped BlackBerry Bold Touch at BlackBerry World next week. While still not completely official, that is now been all but confirmed by RIM itself, it briefly featured the teaser picture on its website. RIM couldnt help itself and promised that it will be a bold step ahead, and it appears that this device is running in BlackBerry 7, which until recently was better known as OS6.1.

The Sprint would sell the Xoom a calendar entry here, an accessory there but there is a conforming peep from the Now Network itself. It announced it would join the legion of retailers peddling the Wi-Fi version of Motorolas tablet for $599.99 on May 8th. Motorolas Xoom LTE upgrade has been delayed. Motorola CEO Sanjay Jha told that we will be seeing the Bionic, delay that we were already sulking about ans said that the company is waiting for its LTE rollout to get a little further along. So, it seems to be one less G for Xoom users until summer and no Bionic at until then. Motorola also says it shipped over 250,000 Xooms in the Q1 of this year, and managed net revenues of $3 billion. That is 22percent up from last year, which brought losses down to $.27 per share mush nicer than $.72 in Q1 2010.

Google is about to start delivering Android 2.3.4 to Nexus S devices out in the wild, and in among all the bug fixes and optimizations, users will find the addition of video and voice chat to Google Talk. You will be able to do it anywhere, by virtue of Wi-Fi, 3G, 4G or the force, and other Gingerbread devices are expected to get same improvements in time.
