The Sprint and Motorola introduces two new Android devices for business, Motorola XPRT and Motorola Titanium. The Sprint dubbing its version XPRT, with same 3.1-inch HVGA touchpanel, full QWERTY keyboard, 1GHz CPU, and Android 2.2 loaded. The price will be $129.99 on two year contract from June 5th. The Titanium gets Android 2.1 on the shipping, while they are managing now to upgrade it to Android 2.2. The specs are 3.1-inch touchscreen, built to MIL-SPEC 810G for dust, shock, vibration, low pressure, solar radiation, high temperature, and low temperature. Sony Ericsson has announced a new pair of compact Xperia smartphones. The new Xperia Mini features Android Gingerbread(2.3), 3-inch multi-touch, scratch resistant display, with Sony Bravia Engine with Reality Display. The some other specs are 1GHz Processor, access to Android Market, home screen customizations, improvement in 30 percent of battery life, 720p video recording HD, with different colors, you can get the device by this August. The Xperia Mini Pro features the same 1GHz processor, 3-inch display, 1200mAh battery, got front facing camera, and QWERTY keyboard. This will be released in Q3 of this year. The Creative debuts its new Zen Style M300 PMP, it packs with built-in Bluetooth2.1 support so you can use the wireless headsets with it. You can also expand the PMPs memory beyond its basic 4GB, 8GB or 16GB capacities with a microSD card slot. You wont get a touchscreen here, got 1.45-inch display is there with a couple of touch buttons. It features a FM radio, a mic for voice recording, 20 hours battery life, and four different colors: Black, White, Red and Yellow. Continentals new stereo system spots people, pets and other objects in a vehicles path and measures their height, distance from the vehicle, and how they are moving. This Continentals ContiGuard safety system uses difference in the lenses optical paths to make these calculations. The company also says the cameras are sharp enough to detect partially obscured objects, and claims accuracy within 20 to 30 centimeters. For more details read the press release.

Nintendo has just made an official announcement to drop the suggested retail price of Wii down to $149.99, and includes a copy of Mario Kart and Wii Wheel peripheral with all the purchases of the device. They will replace the current bundle of Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort games. The Steering Wheel, with the Wii Remote Plus and Nunchuck Controllers, matches the colour of the console. Samsung s 10.1 inch Galaxy Tab hits the FCC, dont mistake it as thicker 10.1v sibling that is gradually rolling out across Europe and Australia. The dual-booting ViewSonic ViewPad 10 with Android 1.6 be damned, we got some good news for these users, this tablet is getting the Android 2.2 Foryo edition update. Now the users can now get updated Gmail, Calendar, Google Maps, and YouTube apps, onscreen keyboard, compatibility with newer apps, and a dose of sorely needed eye candy. New customers can choose one that also runs Windows 7 Home Premium and has 16GB of Flash memory for $599 or with Windows 7 Professional and 32GB of space for $679. ViewSonic is keeping the things interesting by compelling you to download Foryo onto thumb drive and then plug both it and USB keyboard into the ViewPad to install the update. The company best known for cameras and voice recorders, just brought both together by announcing the new LS-20M, a device with relatively high-end audio specs should help it go toe-to-toe with zoom. In addition to 1080p, this device records 24bit / 96mHz Linear PCM audio using a pair of condenser mics. At $300 it has a small 2-ich screen and no optional zoom, but it got more of the visual effects that make its PEN cameras so fun to use. It will hit the market on sometime in June. Plex has served up streaming video for more than a minute, brings content to Mac, iDevices and a jailbroken Apple TVs. For those who are neither a Apple user and nor a Android user, the company has now rolled out a client that runs on Rokus. It is currently in beta version and only supports video, but Plex plans to provide picture and music management in the future. The Samsungs Galaxy Tab8.9 seen at an event in Germany over the weekend. One of the people Johannes went hands-on with the tablet in Frankfurt, and liked what he saw. The version he saw is thinner that the 8.9-incher that we got to smudge up in March, and if this Europe appearance is any indication, Sammy may be on track to launch these sometime in summer.
