The company just announced the Thrive is the first tablet to hit the US market, with pre-orders beginning in June 13th at Best Buy, along with Office superstores and e-commerce players and got a mid-July ship date. It features 10.1-inch 1280*800 displays, runs Android 3.1, got three sizes: 8GB($429), 16GB($479), and 32GB($579). The other specs are it got Tegra 2 processor and Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, full-sized USB and HDMI-ports, an SD slot, 2MP front facing camera and 5MP rear one. It got a haptic display and button to lock screen orientation. It also comes with Toshiba branded file manager and Swype pre-installed. Its weighed at 1.6 pounds.
