OCZ Unveils Agility 3 And Solid 3 SSD
The OCZ has now released the two new solid state drives: the Agility 3 and Solid 3. The pair of 2.5-inch SSDs runs on the SATA III 6Gbps interface and come strapped with a SandForce SF-2200 processor allows for some speedy performance. The Agility 3 boasts a maximum read rate of 525MBps, a write speed of 500MBps and can crank it up to 60,000 IOPS. The Solid 3 with 500MBps read rate, 450MBps writing capabilities and max IOPS of 20,000. On the high end of price spectrum is 240GB Agility 3 at $480, 60GB and 120GB versions priced at $135 and $240 respectively. The Solid 3 is available in both 60GB costs $130 and 120GB costs $230. Google Chromes Sandbox Hacked
The VUPEN Security is now claimed that it has finally managed to hack Googles Chrome browser and crack its so called Sandbox. According to them, the exploit relies on some newly discovered zero day vulnerabilities, works on all Windows Operating Systems and could give malicious websites the ability to download code from remote source and executes it on the users computer. In this the Windows Calculator app is downloaded and run automatically. Google says that its unable to confirm the hack since VUPEN hasnt shared any details with it. Lenovo Funded eBox Gaming Console Renamed iSec
The system this week reintroduced to the world as Apple-esque iSec (Sports Entertainment Center), highlighting centric approach to gaming, with martial arts, skateboarding, and good-old fashioned monster fighting titles having already been demoed. The console will also support wireless controllers of some sort, for those sick of all pesky exercise.
