Internet Service Providers will advertise that they are giving you the maximum speed for your internet connection. However, there is a way to check your internet speed.

Connect your computer to internet.

Go to the URL http://speedtest.net/

There is a tab Begin Test on the website.

Click on the Begin Test tab.

It will calculate the speed of your broadband router and computer.

It will show the results of upload and download speeds and your name of the Internet Service Provider.

It will also show you a map and city in which you have the internet connection.

If your internet speed is good, you need not worry. Otherwise, call the Internet Service Providers (Customer Care) and ask them to rectify the problem. It should be done without delay.
