Samsung Launches Galaxy Tab 620

galaxy tab 620Samsung added a new tablet, Galaxy Tab 620 the new member runs on Android 3.2 Honeycomb with TouchWiz UX customization on top of it. The tablet packs a 1.2GHz dual-core CPU, 1GB RAM. It features a 3MP camera capable of 720p video recording. It includes 16GB of internal memory, microSDcard slot, WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, and 4000mAh battery. The slate is 10mm thick and weighs 345 grams. It got an IR remote function, works as universal remote. According to Samsung the slate will support 1080p playback and DivX support. The device is DLNA-certified; you can mirror it on a compatible HDTV. Now it is priced at Rs.30,250 but it is Rs.26,500 through online stores.

Apple Buys Flash-Memory Co Anobit

appleApple has bought Anobit Technologies, an Israeli maker of flash-memory technology already used in many of Apple Gadgets. Apple Inc Spokesperson Steve Dowling says that Apple buys smaller tech companies from time to time, but generally does not give a reason why. The company is not giving financial terms. Anobit could not be reached for comment after business hours in Jerusalem. Bloomberg has also reported earlier that Apple had confirmed the deal.

Sony Reveals High Resolution R-Series, SS-AR2 Speakers

ss ar2Sony reveals a new product in CES, one of the new things is SS-AR2 loud speakers that look to keep the up the reputation of its elder model SS-AR1. Maple from Hokkaido an island in northern Japan encloses all important components and contributes to the overall sound quality. The SS-AR2 is a 4 unit, 3-way vented standing tower sports a frequency response ranges from42kHz to 60kHz. Distortion is combated by positioning the bass reflex port in just the right to spot to allow a duo of woofers to drive without a hitch. Asus Reveals 7-Inch Tablet At $ 249

At NVIDIA Press conference in CES, Asus introduced the tablet, the real news came when ASUS CEO Jerry Shen showed off an upcoming 7 inch tablet dubbed the EeePad Memo (pronounced "MEE-moh"), which runs Ice Cream Sandwich on a Tegra 3 processor, has an "incredible" rear-facing camera, and features a "magical" price. Pin Drop iPhone App Is Like An Evernote

pindropThe new iPhone app Pin Drop lets users to mark location that matter to them. One or two other startups are trying out this, most notable everplaces, still in private beta version. Users can drop their own pins or they can take inspiration from the curated list feature. Each pin can then be assigned to multiple categories allows users to build up a library of their favourite locations. All of a users’ pin are private unless they choose to share them public. If many become public, thus populate the globe. Users can optionally backup, manage, and view their pins. They will also allow you to use apps built with the Pin Drop API.

samsung bluray playersSamsung outs two compact Blu-ray Players in the CES, a compact BD-ES6000 and less compact ES6500, get down with UltraViolet. The BD-ES6000 is a petite player with a slot-loading mechanism and a boot time of just one second. There is also slightly less svelte yet still slim and stylish BD-ES6500, with dual-HDMI inputs to help out with those sets that are bit limited in the input department, it added support for UltraViolet disc to digital support on all company’s 2012 line up. T-Mobile Announces Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G This Year

Sony Releases Two New GTV Products, A Network Media Player And Blu-Ray Player

sony nsz gp9Sony released first Google TV product back in 2010. Now they took the wraps off a new media streamer and Blu-Ray Player, both with built-in Google TV. These models features several Sony-Centric apps, using Sony apps Media Remote TM and TrackID for Android and iOS devices, users may achieve cross device connectivity. TrackID, a Sony Shazam clone, comes built-in along with the goods necessary to control the GTV from an Android or iOS device. Both the models ship with a redesigned backlit keyboard, a touchpad with support for gestures and three-axis motion control. The Blu-ray device got built-in microphone for Google Voice Search. The NSZ-GS7 network media player and NSZ-GP9 Blu-ray disc player will hit the retailers at this summer. There is no word on pricing yet.

Sony Announces Xperia S

xperia sSony announced another smartphone for the Xperia line of phones, the Xperia S. The Android 2.3 device launched at CES. It features 1280*720 resolution with 4.3-inch display, a quick 1.5GHz CPU, 1GB of RAM, and will be available on both 16GB and 32GB versions, but there is no internal storage expansion. The rear camera is 12MP affair features Sony’s Exmor R backlit sensor, and a useable 1.3MP camera on the front for video calling. It will ship in Q1 of this year.

Sony Introduces Bloggie Live

Bloggie Live is able to shoot video and broadcast it live to another device courtesy of the Qlk platform. All the videos taken with the Bloggie Live are in 1080p, and are uploaded in mp4 format so you can share it to Facebook and YouTube. It packs a built-in WiFi. On Still images front, Bloggie Live still has your smartphone beat with a 12.8MP sensor. It sports a 3-inch touchscreen, with a flip-out USB arm for charging and uploading, 8GB of memory, and an HDMI-out port. The software includes Play memories online platform, lets you view pictures from your iOS and Android devices once you downloaded from Playmemories mobile app.

Sony’s New Crystal LED Prototype With OLED

crystal ledSony fights the OLED feature, while LG and Samsung did it before, they have apparently moved from the tech, choosing to highlight a 55-inch Crystal LED prototype at CES 2012. Its display relies on “ultrafine” mounted on each RGB color, equivalent to number of pixels, which all affixed directly to the front of the display. We are not having the full details, Sony is claiming 3.5 times contrast, and 1.4 times the color gamut and 10 times faster response time than LCDs.

Lenovo Announces IdeaCentre A720 All-In-One

a720Lenovo hitting out another device in the CES now, it unveils A720 all-in-one PC is the thinnest we have ever seen, the 27-incher comes with display can be tilted between 5 to 90 degrees, the idea behind that is 10-point multi-touch panel will be easier to use if it is lying  at a near flat angle. Specification wise, it will offers with various Intel Core i processors, discrete NVIDIA graphics, and up to 1TB HDD or 64 GB SSD. Nokia’s Lumia 900 On AT&T 4G LTE Network

nokia lumina 900Here comes the official announcement from Nokia and AT&T on CES 2012, the device packs a 4.3-inch ClaerkBlack AMOLED 800*480 capacitive touchscreen, 512MB RAM and Mango. There is an 8MP camera around the back with a 28mm f/2.2 Carl Zeiss lens with a dual-LED flash and a front facing f/2.4wide angle lens. The polycarbonate bodied 900 got a single-core 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU, and it packs LTE modem for high speed internet. There is an 1840 mAH battery for 7 hours of talk time and 300 hours standby. It will arrive in the states side in next couple of months in lovely black and can colors.
