The Dell’s leaky website got today the full user and factory service manuals for Alienware’s M14x, confirming a number of juicy rumours. There is no mention of a Full HD and 1080p LCD screen for the 14-inch visitor from another planet, but there will apparently be both 1366*768 and 1600*900 option on tab, both driven by NVIDIA’s GeForce GT555M switchable Optimus graphics with up to 3GB of dedicated memory. You will also find Intel’s latest Core i5 and i7 Sandy Bridge CPUs and up to 8GB of RAM, Gigabit Ethernet, SATA 6GBps and optional 3G/4G connectivity, optional wireless HD, a 2MP webcam, and even a 8-cell 63Whr battery to make portable gaming possible.

Some of the iPad 2 users are having some trouble with Verizon’s 3G Network. If you also got means, don’t worry you are not alone, and thankfully, Apple is well aware of this. In the statement to “All Things Digital”, Cupertino said its investigating this CDMA connectivity issue as reported by a “small number of iPad2 customers”, and word has it that a software patch will be available soon.
Packard Bell debuts Liberty Tab Honeycomb Tablet

Now the new tablet debuted is the Liberty Tab, its own spin on Acer’s Iconia Tab A500. There are not many differences between the two beyond the name, with one packing in the same styling, 10-inch screen, Tegra 2 Processor, dual cameras(5MP in the front side and 2MP in the backside), and Android 3.0 Honeycomb OS as it is more widely available counterpart. Launch date is still a bit iffy, but you can apparently expect this one to hit Europe in June, with price will be varying by country.

“The best effort from the online scammers and the dreams of its competitors- Facebook is not closing today” reported msnbc news.
The scam is currently spreading through Facebook; hitting accounts with a prophetic message that social networking giant is shutting its doors, the security firm Sophos reported. “Facebook is closing all accounts today. They can’t handle so many accounts”, the messages reads. “Most of the old accounts are not active, so they are deleting everything.”

The BlackBerry Orlando is purported to be a variation of Curve, with touch capabilities, already being described as Mini Bold Touch. This is yet another begs the question of why exactly RIM has so many different devices planned, especially when the specifications are differences are so little. We wish the company should deviate their approach of its relying for the years and had to focus its tablet strategy that it is on pushing the envelope with phones. The BB6 might be sticking around for a while, and that RIM wants its users to get acclimated, or it might take a little longer than we think for QNX to trickle down from the PlayBook.
iPhone app turns Augmented reality comes closer to Reality

Augmented reality can be done in million different ways. The New York Times reprted Wednesday on the forthcoming iPhone app called Aurasma that has the power to turn ink and paper publications into interactive mine fields. The app is by the Software enterprise Autonomy, it uses scaled down version of the outfit’s IDOL pattern recognizer to identify images stored in a vast database, and converts those images into related video. The first release of the app is scheduled for the next month, comes in the form of AR Advertisement / game for an unidentified upcoming movie, the company’s founder seems solidly focused on technology’s marketing potential.

Cowon’s D2 is getting a bit long in the tooth, the newly revealed C2 is slated to land at end of April or starting of May this year in order to give barebones PMP users yet another alternative. It got 2.6-inch resistive touch panel with 320*240 resolution, composite video output, micro-SD expansion slot, 4/8/16 GB of internal flash storage memory, USB 2.0 connectivity, an internal microphone and rechargeable battery, that’s good for 10 hours playback and whooping 55 hours audio listening. We are still waiting to get the price from them, but you can get the device in colours like black, white or gray models.

There is a spectacular record break from HTC. The once-small Taiwanese phone maker reports its net income for the first quarter of 2011 nearly tripled earnings in the same period of 2010, and now totalling an impressive $513 million. The success is predictably of demand for Android smartphones and higher speed internet connectivity (as they provides both Thunderbolt and EVO 4G). We all now know why the stock makers love HTC; the company just can’t stop growing.

The Motorola Xoom Honeycomb slate is now officially announced its price in UK. The Xoom tablet initially mentioned prices are £600 for 3G models and £500 for Wi-Fi model. The 32GB equipped 10-inch tablet is now mercifully £20 cheaper at £580 and £480 for each variant. Stores are still showing the Motorola Xoom under pre-order status for now, but that should be changing swiftly if Motorola wishes to live up its promise of availability this week.

BlackBerry Bold Touch full specifications leaked, 1.2 GHz Snapdragon Processor can’t overcome ugly. RIM’s design department seems to be stuck in an era where last generation is the new next generation, while its internals team has seemingly managed to escape. The handset will boast a 1.2 GHz Snapdragon Processor, 8GB of internal storage, 768 MB of RAM, a micro-SD expansion slot (expandable up to 32GB), 5MP camera, and a 35-key backlit keyboard, 2.8-inch LCD with 640*480 resolution, Bluetooth2.1, a 3.5mm headphone jack, A-GPS, dual band 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi and a 720p movie mode.

The Asus released its Eee Pad Transformer tablet’s source code on its official website. The source code for 10.1 inch IPS screen and Honeycomb flavour has just been lobbed up onto the company’s site and, with just a few clicks, you can continue its trajectory right onto your storage device of choice- though you will need to run it through an unzipper before it can really have any impact.

The days of spending $600 for an Android Hioneycomb tablet are nearly done on April 28th, the Acer’s Iconia Tab A500 will wash that price away with waves brushed aluminium. The Wi-Fi only version of Acer’s Android 3.0 tablet will hit best buy and online retail $450 Sans contract, but with the same basic of specification as Wi-Fi only Motorola Xoom: a dual-core 1GHz Terga processor, 250 SOC, a 10.1-inch 1280*800 LCD screen, 1 GB of RAM, 16GB of flash storage, and a 5MP camera around back and 2MP camera on the front, HDMI out, not to mention 3260mAH battery that Acer claims are capable of eight full hours of life while playing HD video. It’s somewhat heavier and thicker too. But if you are attracted to shiny things, than here it is.

Blackberry smartphones come under a new attack targeting their SMS feature according to security firm Trend Micro. The ZeuS Trojan, identified as BBOS_ZITMO.B, removes itself from the list of applications to be able to stay undetected rather than displaying any GUI. Once it is installed ZeuS sends you a confirmation message “App Installed OK”, to the administrator number, which is a U.K number, to signal that it can now receive commands.
PSP starts streaming Music Unlimited on April 14th

The official announcement today is PSP will get a taste of Sony’s Music Unlimited streaming services starting on April 14th. The service is titled as “Music Unlimited powered by Qriocity” by Sony requires a PlayStation Network ID to access all that digital audio. Sony promises a “synchronized music experience” across your PSP, PS3, PC and other network enabled Sony devices like Bravia TVs and Blue-ray Players: a claim backed by cloud based catalog of some 7 million tracks supported by “music sync” functionality that will organize your Music Unlimited library.
